Weapons Deliveries in Defiance of Congress
CNN Reports on U.S. Delivery of Weapons to
Saudis in Stark Defiance of Congress
CNN's Nov 6, 2019 report featured a video showing U.S. Oshkosh armored vehicles arriving in Yemen at its port of Aden going to help Saudi backed forces there. This is happening despite Congress' use of the war powers act to demand the U.S. stop help the Saudis in their more than 4 year war against Yemenis.
Trump is openly and brazenly defying Congress on this.
The CNN report included this "In February, a CNN investigation revealed that Saudi Arabia and the UAE -- key US allies -- had transferred American-made weapons to al Qaeda-linked fighters, hardline Salafi militias, and other fighting factions in Yemen, in violation of their agreements with Washington."
