The Coalition to End the U.S.-Saudi Alliance

The pages on this site were written and published by the Coalition to End the U.S.-Saudi Alliance, a group of peace and human rights organizations that started working together in the summer of 2015.

Founding groups

  • CODEPINK
  • Institute for Gulf Affairs
  • Middle East Crisis Committee (CT)
  • Massachusetts Peace Action
  • Promoting Enduring Peace
  • Muslims United for Justice

By 2021 the coalition said only the Middle East Crisis Committee and Promoting Enduring Peace were still active, and that it was looking for more partners.

What the coalition works on

The coalition set out to show how the U.S.-Saudi relationship feeds instability in the region and to push for its end. Its stated goals were ending U.S. military spending that protects the Gulf monarchies, ending U.S. arms sales and training for Saudi forces, and pressing for U.N. sanctions over the wars in Yemen and Bahrain. You can read the coalition's mission, goals and strategies in its own words.

How these pages are kept

Each page keeps its original wording and web address. The date on a page is the date it was last captured from the live site. It is not a new publication date, and nothing has been added to the coalition's articles.
