April 24, 2019 It became obvious to Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS), the effective ruler of Saudi Arabia, that despite threatening "severe punishment" Trump had no intention of taking action against the regime for its gruesome Khashoggi murder so MBS decided to kill several score dissidents. Yesterday the monarchy announced it had just executed 37 people. Government officials cut off the heads of the condemned and in one case crucified the victim, that is tied the decapitated body to a pole with arms held out straight. Overwhelmingly the victims were Shia Muslims, a variant of Islam that the ruling gang despises.
Amnesty International said, "The majority of those executed were Shi’a men who were convicted after sham trials that violated international fair trial standards which relied on confessions extracted through torture." Much more on the site of the European Saudi Organization for Human Rights.
